The Cincinnati Swords want to thank you for sharing your players with us over the last 13 years.  We have grown as a community and have grown the game of hockey at the same time.

To be clear, we are not ceasing operation today, all Swords teams will finish the 23-24 season as Swords and all practices and games will be played as scheduled.  In addition, all teams will work with the treasurers to close out their financials as we have done in the past.

At the end of the 23-24 season, the Swords will be stepping back and will not be forming teams for the 24-25 season.   We will have 1 additional Learn to Play Hockey and Learn to Skate session starting in April and then that program will end.

We recommend that each family discuss their options and tryout with one of the surrounding organizations.   The Jr Cyclones will continue to play at the Queen City Sportsplex. The Jr. Cyclones are planning to form teams at all age groups and at a variety of skill levels based on registration numbers.  You can find out information about tryouts on each association’s website now or in the near future.
